Winter Cemetery Memorials

As the holiday season approaches, families like to honor their loved ones that have passed by decorating the headstones. Let J&K’s Four Seasons Floral & Greenhouse help you honor your departed loved ones with a grave blanket, grave pillow, grave saddle or grave wreath. We have a variety of ribbon colors and 3 varieties of pinecones to choose from to decorate your winter memorial. We will guide you through the selection process when you call or visit the shop.

We begin taking pre-orders for winter memorials on November first. Depending on when our locally sourced winter greens arrive, we do not guarantee delivery or pick-up until December first. Winter memorials are designed in the order in which pre-orders are received, so if you want your winter memorial early in season, please call at the beginning of November. Delivery to local cemeteries is available at an additional cost. Precise directions to the grave marker are required for delivery.

Grave Saddles

Grave Saddles are designed to sit on the top of a grave marker. Grave saddles are designed in a wire armature with adjustable arms to securely fit on the top of a flat surfaced grave marker. Unfortunately, if the grave marker is rounded or otherwise not flat, the grave saddle is not recommended as the saddle will not securely tighten down on the top of the grave marker. Rubber grips on the adjustable arms keep the armature from scratching the surface of the grave marker. Grave saddles measure approximately 1.5 feet long. Saddles are decorated with ribbon (choose colors when ordering) pinecones and red berries.

Grave Blanket

J&K’s Four Seasons Floral & Greenhouse uses Colorado Spruce, locally grown and purchased, as the winter green of choice when designing a grave blanket. The grave blanket measures approximately 3.5 feet long by 2 feet tall. Grave blankets are then decorated with ribbons and bows, metallic ribbon punch and pinecones. Ribbon colors can be chosen at the time of order. Metallic Ribbon Punch comes in either gold or silver. Pinecones come either natural or red with white tips. We use an Oasis block, secured to a wooden base as the base of our grave blankets. Once the oasis is soaked in water and allowed to freeze, this provides ample weight so the grave blanket won’t blow away. No stakes are required to secure to the ground.

Cemetery Wreath

A beautiful alternative to a grave blanket or pillow is the Cemetery Wreath. Cemetery Wreaths are designed with Colorado Spruce, locally grown and purchased. Cemetery Wreaths are designed on a wire base and measure approximately 28” in diameter. Cemetery Wreaths are decorated with ribbon (colors options available), pinecones (natural and red with white tips) and red berries. Cemetery Wreaths include a metal tripod stand to elevate the wreath at the grave side.

Grave Pillow

J&K’s Four Seasons Floral & Greenhouse uses Colorado Spruce, locally grown and purchased, as the winter green of choice when designing a grave pillow. Grave pillows are slightly smaller than a grave blanket and measure approximately 2 feet long by 1 foot tall. Grave pillows are then decorated with ribbons and bows, metallic ribbon punch and pinecones. Ribbon colors can be chosen at the time of order. Metallic Ribbon Punch comes in either gold or silver. Pinecones come either natural, natural with white tips or red with white tips. We use an Oasis block, secured to a wooden base as the base of our grave pillows.
